مقياس التيار الذي يستخدم أكواب مخروطية Conical Cups

جهاز قياس التيار Current Flow Meter يستخدم لقياس مقدار السريان عبر مقطع العرضي لقناة مفتوحة ، يمكن الحصول علي قراءات دقيقة من خلال جهاز قياس التيار Current Flow Meter.

يتكون الجهاز من جزء دوار Rotating Element يدور بسبب مواجهته لتيار الماء Stream . يتم توليد تيار كهربي يتناسب مع سرعة الجزء الدوار Rotating Element والذي بدوره يتناسب مع سرعة سريان تيار الماء.

محاكاة متحركة تبين حركة الأكواب مع تيار الماء (اتجاه السريان من اليسار إلي اليمين)

تحسب الدوائر الإلكترونية الموجودة داخل الجهاز عدد دورات الدوران للجزء الدوّار Rotating Element خلال فترة زمنية ، وبالتالي تحديد سرعة السريان Velocity .

يتم تعليق جهاز قياس التيار Current Flow Meter في هيكل السد/الحاجز أو الهدار . ويتم أيضا كذلك تعليق جهاز قياس مثل عدادات الموجات فوق الصوتية Ultrasonic Meter .

Current meters measure the flow of channel of the cross-section, accurate measurement can be read using the current meter.

It consists of a rotating element which rotates due to the reaction of the stream. A current is generated according to the velocity of rotating element which is in relation to the velocity of the flowing stream.

The circuitry attached to the current meter counts the number of rotations of the rotating element during a time interval, the velocity of the flow is determined.

The current meter is hanged from a structure to the weir or flume. Measuring devices such as ultrasonic meters are done so.
