ترمومتر البلورات السائلة Liquid Crystal Thermometer LCT أو شريط درجة الحرارة Temperature Strip أو ترمومتر الشريط البلاستيكي Plastic Strip Thermometer هو أحد أنواع الترمومترات والتي تحتوي علي سائل بلوري حساس للحرارة (ثيرموكروميك Thermochromic ) مغلف داخل شريط بلاستيكي ويتغير لونه ليعبر عن درجات الحرارة المختلفة .
البلورات السائلة لها نفس الخصائص الميكانيكية للسوائل بالإضافة إلي خصائص بصرية . فالتغير في درجة الحرارة يؤثر علي لون البلورات السائلة مما يجعلها مفيدة لقياس درجة الحرارة . دقة التباين Resolution لحساس البلورات السائلة Liquid Crystal Sensors في نطاق درجة 0.1 مئوية . تم تطوير ترمومترات الإستخدام الواحد المصنعة من البلورات السائلة للإستخدام المنزلي والإستخدام الطبي . وعلي سبيل المثال إذا كان لون الترمومتر أسود وتم وضعه علي جبين شخص فسيتغير لونه تبعا لدرجة حرارة الشخص .

في التطبيقات الطبية، يمكن استخدام ترمومترات البلورات السائلة لقراءة درجة حرارة الجسم عن طريق وضعه علي الجبين . هذا الترمومتر أكثر أمانا من الترمومتر الزجاجي الزئبقي ، ويمكن أن يكون مفيدا مع بعض المرضى، ولكن لا يعطي دائما نتيجة دقيقة، باستثناء ترمومتر البلورات السائلة التحليلي والذي يعطي قراءات حرارة محددة فيما بين 35.5 إلي 40.5 درجة مئوية .
وتستخدم ترمومترات البلورات السائلة أيضا في تطبيقات أخري مثل استخدامها في أحواض السمك .
قام بوب باركر Bob Parker باختراع ترمومترات البلورات السائلة في كاليفورنيا كأحد الإختراعات العديدة المعتمدة علي تطبيقات ثيرموكروميك Thermochromic وتم تسجيل براءة الإختراع عام 1970 م.

Liquid crystals possess the mechanical properties of a liquid, but have the optical properties of a single crystal. Temperature changes can affect the colour of a liquid crystal, which makes them useful for temperature measurement. The resolution of liquid crystal sensors is in the 0.1°C range. Disposable liquid crystal thermometers have been developed for home and medical use. For example if the thermometer is black and it is put onto someone’s forehead it will change colour depending on the temperature of the person.

In medical applications, liquid crystal thermometers may be used to read body temperature by placing against the forehead. These are safer than a mercury-in-glass thermometer, and may be advantageous in some patients, but do not always give an exact result, except the analytic liquid crystal thermometer which show the exact temperature between 35.5 to 40.5 Celsius.
Liquid crystal thermometers are also commonly used in aquariums.
